Always make sure you write down your recovery code and store it somewhere safe. Your recovery code is available on the account page.
If you have Vaulteq installed on a laptop or mobile device that is stolen, we recommend taking the following steps:
- Login to your account using your recovery code
- Create a new master password on your account page
- Remove the stolen device from the list of authorized devices on your account page.
- Change your passwords for important sites such as your email and your financial service providers.
