Always make sure you write down your recovery code and store it somewhere safe. Your recovery code is available on the account page.


If you have Vaulteq installed on a laptop or mobile device that is stolen, we recommend taking the following steps:

  1. Login to your account using your recovery code
  2. Create a new master password on your account page
  3. Remove the stolen device from the list of authorized devices on your account page.
  4.  Change your passwords for important sites such as your email and your financial service providers.
